BREAKING: Amid ADC Crisis, Salihu Says Party Is Not Fearing Supreme Court Outcome

In a recent interview shared by Arise News, ADC chieftain, Ladan Salihu, expressed strong confidence in the judiciary as political tensions continue to rise over ongoing legal disputes involving the African Democratic Congress.

Speaking amid uncertainty surrounding a pending Supreme Court decision, Salihu maintained that the party remains optimistic about the outcome of the legal process. According to him, “We are not thinking about the Supreme Court judgement not going in our favour; we believe in the rule of law.”

Salihu stated that the judgment at the lower court was unnecessary and ill-timed, noting that it came on the eve of a crucial Supreme Court decision. He said the development appears designed to distract the party from the bigger issue before the apex court.

He further explained that the matter remains an internal affair of the party, stressing that the ADC has acted within the bounds of its constitution and the law. He insisted that the party would remain focused, resilient, and committed to due process despite ongoing challenges.

Salihu added that the judiciary is now under public scrutiny and must rise to the occasion by delivering a fair and impartial judgment that will strengthen democracy.
